Tulsa Ice Storm 2007

Caring for damaged trees after the recent ice storm requires careful planning and patience. The first thing to remember is not to panic and make hasty decisions. Evaluate the situation, seek professional help if necessary, and plan the recovery effort. What we learn from this experience may help reduce damage in future ice situations.

The Mayor of Tulsa has initiated a project, ReGreen Tulsa, to replant the trees lost in the storm. This website has a list of recommended trees.
