Outdoor Classroom and Community Gardening

Tulsa Master Gardeners have volunteered share their horticultural knowledge and experience with 1) private or public schools, 2) non-profit groups, 3) local or state residential housing developments, and 4) government sponsored agencies or groups.

These volunteers will assist these organizations in the development of horticultural projects that educate and encourage participation by the public in horticultural activities in an outdoor setting.

The Master Gardeners will be able to provide technical assistance in planning, implementation and maintenance of a garden project. They may be able to refer the client to groups or agencies that provide grants or other financial assistance. The Master Gardeners are NOT a labor force and will NOT secure or direct funding for the implementation or maintenance of the projects.

When a request is received, please refer to the blue book on the desk reserved
for school programs and Outdoor Classroom and Community Gardening.

Look for the form entitled "MASTER GARDENER SCHOOL PROGRAM - OUTDOOR CLASSROOM AND COMMUNITY GARDENING Request Form".

Fill in the requested information.

Give the completed form to the MG
Secretary (Debra).

The requestor will then be contacted, normally within 10 days.

Please do not give out names or phone numbers of Master Gardeners.
DO NOT make a commitment for a project effort.
