SEASONAL APPEARANCE of ORNAMENTAL and SHADE TREE PESTS

Table of Contents

This table is a listing of the statewide average of seasonal appearances of some of the pests that attack some of Oklahoma ornamentals and trees. The actual appearance may be slightly earlier or later based on locale or unusual climatic conditions in any one year. In most cases, a pest is only listed once based on the average time of first occurrence or the peak damaging activity period of the pest. Some pests may continue to be active because of longer life spans or because of multiple generations.

This information has been extracted from "Major Horticultural & Household Insects of Oklahoma" Circular E-918 Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service.
